The 711K kit combines the newly designed 77GX and 200GX models. The tone generator, 77GX, offers two power settings. The low setting actually unbalances the signal, allowing it to propagate much farther on high speed twisted pair cables than standard tone generators. It has three easily changed warble tones, selectable from the front panel. 

Designed with the professional in mind, the GX series from Progressive Electronics offers benefits which will speed clearing troubletickets and last for years. The 77GX Tone Generator has standard and low power settings, the low power setting unbalances the signal which allows it to propagate much further on Category 5 data cables orshort circuits than standard tone generators. It has two line polarity, independent continuity testing,independent talk battery with higher voltage output. Three distinct switch selectable warble tone patterns. The modular cord is easily replaced via its jack. The 200GX probe has a comfortable design. Fully adjustable volume and sensitivity control. LED gives you a visual indication of signal strength, perfect for high noise environments. Recessed tabs for connection to test sets with automatic speaker by-pass. The tip has been redesigned to improve signal reception and lower the risk of accidental short circuits. Both operate on 9V battery, not included.
