Product Description
CHP precision cutters are made from carbon steel and then precision ground to exacting specs. The steel is heat treated to harden the tool for long tool life. The sharp blades and carefully machined surfaces allow accurate cutting with less force. CHP-170 is a general use cutter for the most common cutting of leads and wires. When tested after 350 cuts, the CHP-170's cutting force remained constant. The dolphin-style ergonomic grips are slim and light-weight to reduce the stress on operator's hands. This allows the operator to use less effort when cutting.
