Product Description
The Megger Ultrasonic Leak and Corona Detector is the ideal tool for identifying the location of leaks in all types of telecommunications pressurized cables. The receiver unit is light weight and has multiple features such as external speaker and volume control, built in analog decibel meter, external phone jack for head set usage in high noise environments, and compatible connections for use with a duct probe system for underground section leaks between manholes. The head set provided is designed for comfort and has it's own volume control knobs.The leak detector unit includes a directional horn that is both functional and light weight, which provides additional comfort for the technician. The unit weighs 5.5 lb in total, measures 12" x 17" x 5", and includes detector, transducer probe, directional horn, sound concentrator, headset, 9V battery and carry case.
